On Thursday 2nd February 2022, Davido and Kizz Daniel excited fans with tweets suggesting an incoming joint EP.
Kizz Daniel quoted a tweet by a user asking him about the track with Davido his best pal with a video of Davido at the airport with the caption ”We have an EP COMING BRA @davido where you at ?!
Kizz Daniel’s tweet was then quoted by Davido with the caption “Who’s ready !!!!!! ??? OBO X KIZZ EP?We sellin a million first week!!!”
Davido and Kizz Daniel have previously collaborated on Kizz Daniel’s smash hit ‘One Ticket’and before then, Davido was on the remix of Kizz Daniel’s break out single ‘Woju.’
The two maintains a good relation and their partnership have yielded two mind blowing singles and a joint EP between the two hit makers will be nothing short of breathtaking.
Kizz Daniel is currently on tour while Davido just arrived at the US to finish his collaboration with rapper Da Baby.
The news of the joint EP still feels like Christmas in June and with both of them releasing new albums in the latter part of the year, a joint EP might just be a dream that will never happen.
For now, fans are excited by the announcement and hopefully, there will be more news on the joint EP.
On his recently released single ‘Stand Strong.’Davido collaborated with The Samples a Kanye West affiliated choir group.
The Sample’s vocal contribution lifted the song and assisted Davido to achieve the artistic touch he was after. In his interview with The Dotty Show on Apple Music, Davido revealed how he met and collaborated with Kanye West.
“Crazy man. Yeah, we were in Atlanta when he was having the release parties, and then from there I met Jason who works with Kanye, and then we just got in the studio and played them a couple of records, and obviously ‘Stand Strong’ is the one that fit them. And we flew out to L.A. and we shot the video. And hopefully, we got to perform a couple of shows with them.” Davido recounts how the collaboration came about.
Speaking of how it feels to work with The Samples, “It was just a different feeling, a different kind of record. I wouldn’t say I’ve never done a record like that, but I don’t think I’ve ever released a record like that. But funny enough, my earlier records, before Afro beats and stuff, that’s the kind of music I was geared to, like R&B, slow, soulful type stuff.” Davido reveals.
Working with a genius and a 24 time Grammy winner like Kanye West gives listeners a hint of the direction Davido intends to head for his forthcoming album.
Undoubtedly, fans will be curious to know what role Kanye West will play in Davido’s album and if it will be similar to the role Sean Puff Diddy Combsplayed in Burna Boy’s ‘Twice As Tall’ Grammy-winning album.

Kanye West’s latest lawyer has withdrawn from the case as the rapper seeks his fifth attorney yet in his divorce proceedings with Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West has been in an ongoing legal battle with estranged wife Kim Kardashian since February last year, and now the rapper has dropped yet another attorney during the proceedings.
The rapper has lost four lawyers in total since the divorce began, the most recent of which being Samantha Spector, a well-known Hollywood divorce attorney.
News broke this week that she had filed to withdraw from the case after replacing lawyer Chris Melcher, who had only stopped working on the case in March after Kanye fired him.
According to papers obtained by The Blast, Spector cited an irreconcilable breakdown in her relationship with the musician as her reason for stepping away from the case.

Following the legal team shake-up, it is yet to be officially announced who will be stepping up to represent West, however, it is rumoured that an attorney from Pennsylvania who interestingly doesn’t possess extensive divorce proceeding experience will be taking over.
Until the fifth lawyer begins, other members of the rapper’s team will be handling the highly publicised divorce with Kim.
The news of Kanye’s string of lawyers comes after Kim publicly criticised her former partner’s behaviour online, in February she posted a transparent post to Instagram about her public fallout with the ‘Stronger’ musician.
Kim shared: “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.

“From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way,” the mum-of-four continued.
The KKW Beauty founder closed the post by commenting on her exes inability to work with the same attorney, at the time of writing, Kanye was still on his third legal representative.
She wrote: “I wish to handle private matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
The 41-year-old reality star went on to discuss the ordeal during her family’s new series with Hulu, she revealed on The Kardashians: “All I can do is control how I react to something. I can’t control how he treats me or, you know, how he’s always treated you guys.”

Ed Sheeran is releasing a repackaged edition of his record-breaking album ‘Equals’ – here’s everything we know.
Ed Sheeran is the gift that keeps on giving! On Wednesday (May 25), the 31-year-old musician excitedly announced a reimagined version of his ‘Equals’ album – and it’s just around the corner!
The hitmaker burst back onto the music scene after a multi-year hiatus from releasing solo music with the arrival of his fourth studio record, often stylised as ‘=’, the project arrived in October 2021.
Ed took to several social media platforms to share the news, he revealed on Twitter that the new edition will “include 9 additional tracks”.

The shock announcement revealed that the special reworked edition of the album has been droped on Friday, May 27!
In total, the project boasts a whopping 24 tracks, featuring collaborations with none other than the likes of Taylor Swift, Bring Me The Horizon, Lil Baby, Fireboy DML and Potter Payper.
In Ed’s tweet, he unveiled that ‘Equals’ second release will feature “2 brand new ones [songs], and 2 that were featured in Yesterday.”
The pop star appeared in the 2019 flick Yesterday in a dramatised cameo role, in which he contributed two original tracks to the production.

The Headies academy, the board of popular Nigerian music awards, The Headies, has threatened to disqualify singer Portable for allegedly threatening other nominees.
The organisers, in a statement, said it might be forced to disqualify the singer if he fails to retract his statement and issue an apology on his social media pages.
Portable, a nominee for the Best Street-Hop Artiste and Rookie of the year awards, made threat threats on Wednesday to other nominees on his categories.
In the video making rounds on social media, the singer said: “Those are my awards, anybody else who wins I will ask for them to be killed. I will ask them to kill the person. If the organisers give my award to someone else, they will die,” he said in Yoruba. “No go give my award to another person, he go die o”
Nigerian songwriter, and singer who was born Damini Ebunoluwa better known as Burna Boy has called out billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana for using his title ‘Odogwu’ without consent to promote his products.
Naija News understands that the Anambra-born businessman had ventured into another line of business with the launch of Odogwu Bitters.
Odogwu Bitters as it is called, is a herbal alcoholic drink that had been making waves in the market since its launch some weeks ago.
Reacting to the development, Burna Boydemanded the Cubana group founder pay him for using his title.
He said, Obi Cubana had gone ahead and used his title ‘Odogwu’ for business without paying reference to him.
He added that he would send his account number, so the businessman can do the needful.
He said in the now viral video, “Them do Odogwu Bitters dem no give me money. Wetin dey happen? Those people wey do Odogwu Bitters dem dey owe me money. So make them pay – I go send them account”.
The ‘Happier Than Ever’ songstress said: “I’m very happy to talk about it,” before adding, “If you film me for long enough, you’re gonna see lots of tics.”
The ‘Ocean Eyes’ singer went on to say that her physical tics have become part of who she is because they happen so frequently.
She continued: “I never don’t tic at all, because the main tics that I do constantly, all day long, are like, I wiggle my ear back and forth and raise my eyebrow and click my jaw and flex my arm here and flex this arm, flex these muscles.
“These are things you would never notice if you’re just having a conversation with me, but for me, they’re very exhausting.”
Billie explained that her tics tend to not be as frequent when she’s focusing on something, such as performing, adding: “When I’m moving around, I’m not even ticcing at all.
“What’s funny is so many people have it that you would never know.”

“A couple artists came forward and said, ‘I’ve actually always had Tourette’s’,” Billie added.
Although she ‘really loves’ talking about it, Billie went on to say she’s still ’incredibly confused by it’ and admitted some people don’t always have the best reaction to her tics, adding: “The most common way that people react is they laugh because they think I’m trying to be funny. I’m always left incredibly offended by that.”
Billie was diagnosed with Tourettes syndrome at 11 years old – the neurological disorder ‘is a condition that causes a person to make involuntary sounds and movements called tics’, according to the NHS website.

Canadian rapper Drake has been making news in the crypto-verse for his big Bitcoin [BTC] bets. While the crypto industry isn’t new to celebrities, Drake decided to bring his unique touch to the market. The singer was time and again seen employing BTC for sports betting. However, Drake did not take home profits all the time.
The rapper went on to bet on F1 for the very first time. Drake took to Instagram and unveiled to his followers that he bet on Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. He reportedly bet $234,000 worth of Bitcoin on Leclerc hoping he would win the Grand Prix 2022 taking place in Spain. Following the match, if the results were in favor of the rapper then he was expected to pocket $350,000 worth of Bitcoin.
The rapper used the Stake app to place his bets on Leclerc.
Things did not transpire as planned. Drake’s very first Formula 1 crypto betting was a failure as Leclerc paved the way for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to victory. The climate in Barcelona caused immense distress to his engine which aided in Verstappen’s win.
Big Bitcoin bets amidst its sluggish recovery
The latest crash that turned the entire crypto market upside down pushed Bitcoin way below $30k. Now, however, the king coin was seen trying to get back on its feet. Amidst this, Drake directed his BTC onto sports betting.
This isn’t the first time that the artists indulged in some crypto-centric gambling. Earlier this year, he bet nearly $1.2 million worth of Bitcoin on a Super Bowl match between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. Following the victory of the LA Rams, Drake bagged $240,000. He also won $435,000 from betting on Odell Beckham Jr. to catch the first touchdown.
In addition to football, Drake also poured his funds into a UFC fight between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington. However, just like in the latest F1 race, Drake lost his bet.
Furthermore, at press time, BTC was trading for $30,422 with a 1 percent daily surge.
Lil Baby hit a festival crowd with a big surprise.
As part of Montreal’s Metro Metro Festival on Saturday, headliner Baby decided to bring out Drake, as the duo ran through a performance of their Certified Lover Boysmash “Girls Want Girls,” as well as several other solo tracks.
Of course, Drizzy’s appearance came as a total surprise to the crowd, who certainly weren’t expecting to see the Canadian royalty touch down on stage. Videos from the night show Drake floating through a few different songs besides the Baby collab, including 2018 hit “Nonstop” off Scorpion.
But of course, what would a Baby x Drizzy mini-set be without 2021’s “Wants and Needs,” and what would any Drake show be without “Headlines?”
